On Monday 5th April, 10 of the Amblers took their tentative first steps back to walking as an organised group in Calstock.
Luckily it was not too chilly and the sun was shining as Valerie and Imogen led us along the river bank and up a track.
The owners of one of the houses along the trail were only too happy to stop and chat, suitably socially distanced, whilst they collected leaves and twigs from their very large and glorious garden with its myriad of daffodils and primroses.
We couldn’t help but smile at their sign to discourage unwanted visitors. Is this the new green deal?
